UI Process

In General, Oracle Product Managers are primarily accountable for the creation of Product Functional Specifications. UI designers' role in this area is that of the reviewer. Feedback from the results of the review are provided in report formats back to the team. UI Plan process is then derived from combining both functional spec. review and Heuristic Evaluations or Card-Sorting activities conducted by Usability engineers.

Within Oracle Collaboration Suite (OCS) Version 2, some Development Common Web UI Documents and Functional Specifications have been created to assure that different development teams would follow the Common Web UI throughout the development cycle. UI plan process is utilized to assure that UI design will meet the timelines of the development milestone and phases.
